What should I do if MasonVac fails to create a vacuum?

Make sure the rim of the jar is clean, the lid is properly centered, and MasonVac is correctly positioned on the jar before starting the sealing cycle.

In most cases, a simple adjustment in positioning is all it takes to achieve an excellent airtight seal.
